Update #26 on Peter

What do the following pictures have in common with Cardinal Tien Hospital in Yonghe, Taipei County, Taiwan?

PETER
BENNETT
IS NOT IN ANY OF THEM!

He did his PT this AM and is already checked out of the hospital… He moved to the Edwards’ apartment and recovery continues.

Tomorrow morning he has a very early appointment with a physical therapist who specializes in head trauma patients so it will be interesting to see what she thinks.

Thank you all for your ongoing role in Peter’s life.

  2. Praise be to the LORD, for he has heard our prayers!

Is it "normal" for someone with such serious head injuries to be out of hospital and in rehab a month later, seemingly with most of their faculties well intact?

All Scott's updates after those first few scary days told of what seems an amazingly fast recovery from a horrendous injury. The two key factors seem to be first and foremost PRAYER (lots of it, from all over the world) and secondly, Peter was surrounded from the start by loving friends who touched him, talked to him and stimulated a process that could have taken a lot longer for someone "stuck in a hospital room"...

Praise God again for his love and care for his children!

  5. Praise the Lord for Peter's miraculous recovery. There is nothing short of answered prayer here! I am still in awe of everyone around the world who prayed for Peter. The Network of prayer partners Peter made along his path is awesome! Thank you Lord Jesus! Susan Sorenson

  6. PRAISE JESUS!!

Peter, I know that you still have a long journey ahead of you, but I know that God will help you make that journey. In Isaiah 45:2-3 He promises:

"I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars. I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden wealth of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name."

He knows where you are because He has been there to make sure you can get through. He has done all of this to remind you that He knows you and He calls you by your own name.

    grace and peace.

  7. Praise the Lord! We serve an Awesome God and yes, this will take a patient period of recovery for you Peter to lean on Him as you have been doing and showing others to do the same. We have been blessed to hear so many sweet reports of your stay in the hospital and how you touched lives there for Christ as a good example. "Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; Save me and I will be saved, For You are my praise. Jer 17:14
